November 17 Update
FIRST ANNUAL MEETING OF THE HAMMRC BOARD OF DIRECTORS
HAMMRC Team Leader Wayne Mays shares an update with the Board on an agenda item in the November 11th meeting. Board Members present for the meeting, which was held in the NWA Robotics Center at Fayetteville Chamber (left to right), were Nathan Reed of the Tahlequah Regional Development Authority, Chair Mayor Ernie Penn of Farmington, Fayetteville Chamber Board Chair Dr. John L Colbert, and Josh Hutchins of the Tahlequah Regional Development Authority.
Board Members and guests were treated to a demonstration of the teaching robots in the NWA Robotics Center by director Josh Watson. Board members were reminded of their ability to refer citizens, students, or employees to the center for a significant discount.
COUNTY COMMITS
At the Board Meeting, Board Chair Mayor Ernie Penn of Farmington welcomed our newest investor-partner, Washington County Judge Joseph Wood.
The county government is pledging strong support to the small communities along highway 62 in Washington County.
VENDOR EVENT PROPOSED TO BOARD
The HAMMRC Leadership Team proposes a combination Board Meeting/Luncheon/Vendor Event for January. Due to possible scheduling conflicts, the January Board Meeting and event date will need to be flexible. More information will be provided in the following newsletter.
