NECESSITY MOTIVATED MOTHER TO INVENT

The device, created as a response to a critical family need, promotes safety and reduces risks for injury by significantly restricting the ability to pull on life-saving medical devices, such as intravenous equipment, ports, drain tubes, catheters, etc.

Above left, With the help of Arielle Barnett of the Cherokee nation, Jeffries demonstrates the proper fitting of the device on a patient.

Above right, a close-up of the Device with the breathable cover pulled back to allow connection to a pulse oximeter monitor and other medical devices.
